Ganga is situated in the garhwal part of Uttarakhand. Embodiment of goddess Ganga, it is the most sacred place for Hindus. Amongst the four holy spots of Hindus, gangotri is considered to be the one. Tall mountains and garrulous streams add beauty to it. One of the major parts of Devbhumi, gangotri is famous for its glacier, which proofs rather tough. It is a source of sacred Ganga. May-June receives highest number of pilgrims from across India, who comes to worship “Char-Dham”. The river is 30 meter in width. It is believed that by seeing the ferociousness of Ganga, lord Shiva requested her to take her in his hair, to save earth from now and then unwanted destructions. Gangotri offers many places which are not only beautiful but also majestic, hails from directly god’s world. After Gangotri-Gomukh, Tapovan: – a piece of grassland is a base camp in Uttarakhand hills, for shivlinga peak. Popular amongst both trekkers and pilgrims. Kalindikhal trek is more difficult as compare to tapovan. For trekking, one need to be fit as lots of stamina required during trekking. Trekk from gomukh to nandanvan is totally based upon glacier. Itinerary :-

Day 01: Arrive Delhi.
Our representative will meet you at the airport on your arrival to Delhi. You will make a check in the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh.
After breakfast, we will take you drive to Rishikesh via Haridwar, upon reaching to Rishikesh you will be check in to hotel. In the evening, discover the local sightseeing /nearby places. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Rishikesh – Uttarkashi (170 kms/ 4-5 hrs) Panch-kedar.
Post breakfast, we will start the 3rd day with drive to Uttarkashi, which will take approx 7-8 hours to reach. You will be transfer to hotel, after arrival to Uttarkashi. For local sightseeing evening time is kept vacant. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.

Day 04: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (3048 m/ 10,000 ft) Drive (95 kms)
We will proceed to Gangotri enroute to Harsil early in the morning which is approx 25 km prior Gangotri (3048 mt) by covering approx 95km in total 4 to 5 hrs. Check into the hotel for night stay upon arrival.

Day 05: Gangotri (3048 mts/10000 ft) – Bhojwassa (3792 mts/12440 ft) 13 kms trek/5-6 hrs)
After breakfast, journey heads to Bhojwasa via Chirbasa (3600 mt.) We will proceed towards Chirbasa track from Gangotri, which is on tree line. Today’s trek is around the crispy river of Bhagirathi. The terrain ahead of Chirbasa is so infertile. Many trekkers named this barren land as Artic Tundra. A further trek to Bhojwasa begins
from Chirbasa. Decked up with dense forest, upon arriving to Bhojwasa, there is a small temple, near the river you can position campsite. We make our camp base down the river side for adventure. Explore local in the spare time of afternoon. Enjoy the sunset on the Bhagirathi group of peaks. Overnight stay in tents with dinner served.

Day 06: Bhojwassa – Gomukh (3890 mts/12760 ft) – Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft) Panch-kedar.
We will proceed to Gomukh trek, the source of the Ganges (3890 mt) after having breakfast. After traverse through Gomukh, we will move to the pleasant spot laced with bubbling streams and large meadows of Tapovan. One can locate blue mountain goats on the mountain ranges. Overnight stay at the camp with Dinner.

Day 07: Tapovan (4463 mts / 14640 ft)
Discover the Meru & Kriti Glacier, relax and acclimatize in the middle mountain landscape, magnificent peaks clad with snow and flora & fauna. Night halt in the camp with dinner provided.

Day 08: Tapovan – Bhojwassa (Trek 4-5 hrs) Panch-kedar
Enjoy the sunrise on high peaks fresh in the morning. Trek down to Bhojwassa after breakfast. Upon reaching to the destination camp at Bhojwassa, enjoy the overnight stay at the camp with dinner.

Day 09: Bhojwassa – Gangotri (Trek 4-5 hrs)
Welcome morning with the shine of sunrise, trek down to the Gangotri, camp is available for dinner and night halt.

Day 10: Gangotri – Uttarkashi.
In the morning, drive to Uttarkashi, after breakfast. Upon arrival check in to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: Uttarkashi – Haridwar – Delhi.
Via Haridwar, drive to Delhi after morning breakfast. Transfer to hotel on arrival for overnight stay.

Day 12: Delhi Departure.
As planned schedule, transfer to international airport to catch your flight.
