Pithoragarh is a small full of life urban town lies in the Soar valley, a mirror image of Kashmir valley at some extend. Amid the rugged and miserable mountains, Pithoragarh is situated at a height of 1645 meters. On your Pithoragarh tour you will discover many aspects of nature. Also, you can see the snow clad peaks of Panchachuli, Nanda Kot and Nanda Devi from the highest altitude of Pithoragarh.

Known as the gateway to the Himalayas, from the north direction, trek through the town Pithoragarh continues towards Lake Mansarovar, Om Parvat and Kailash. The village here is generally placed on eminences provides the look of entire location as wonderful as stars in the sky.

The town lies in the middle of the four hills named Dhwaj, Thal Kedar, Kumdar and Chandak and continues to the southern edge to Jhulaghat, adjoining the bleak peaks of Nepal hills, separated by River Kali. The four kots Dungerkot, Udaikot, Bhatkot and Unchkot snuggled the town.
During winter, high alpine meadows such as Chhiplakot, Munsiyari and Pithoragarh play perfect skiing destinations. As it is a stopover for mountaineering, trekkers, base camps and travelers, the town is catered with a number of cinema places, hotels and hospitals.
Places to see in and around Pithoragarh are: Kamaksha Temple, Temple of Arjuneshwar, Chandak, Kapileshwar Mahadev, and Nakuleshwar temple, Pithoragarh Fort, Totanaula, Jhulaghat, Mostamanu Temple, Didihat and Thal.
Temperature of Pithoragarh rise as even 40degree sometimes during summers, as it falls in the Soar valley. For Sightseeing and Mountaineering, best time to visit the valley is from April to June.
Itinerary :-
Day 1: Delhi- Kathgodam- Pithoragarh
Commence your journey via bus/train from Delhi to Kathgodam. Early morning arrival to kathgodam. Explore a famous hill station called Pithoragarh from taxi. Check in to the hotel, upon reaching. Spend night in peace.

Day 2: Pithoragarh
Post breakfast; begin the sightseeing in Pithoragarh early in the morning. Discover the Kapileshwar Mahadev, Manu temple, Patel Bhuneshwar, Thal Kedar and Gangolihat. Spend your night comfortably in hotel.

Day 3: Pithoragarh
The day is kept to explore the local market such as Naya Bazaar,
Cinema line from where you can shop Kumauni craft and shopping of local cloths of Pithoragarh. In the evening, discover the local sightseeing locations. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4: Pithoragarh – Delhi
Return back to kathgodam in the morning. Board train/bus to Delhi from Kathgodam. Live the moment and enjoy.
