Description
Consists of four religious sites in India, Chardham yatra is a pious journey done by Hindus in the region of Uttarakhand.Located on the foothills of the philanthropic Himalayas, the destinations collectively known as Chardham are: Yamunotri, Badrinath, Gangotri, and Kedarnath.The sacred temples at Chardham are dedicated to different deities.Every year millions of followers visitthese religious centers to offer worship from across the globe.
It is strongly believed that the Yatra to these Chardham is must as it cleanses your soul from any sins and makes you feel light from all burden of life.The right way to begin journey to Chardham is from Left to Right, thus the Yatra commences from Yamunotri starts passing through Gangotri, Kedarnath and concludes upon reaching at Badrinath. The Hindu belief of “Parikrama” is followed in “Chardham Yatra”.

Yamunotri:
Devoted to goddess Yamuna, Yamunotri is the origin of the sacred river Yamuna. The holy shrine of Yamunotri lies exactly the opposite of Gangotri, and is situated at an elevation of 3293 meters above the sea level. Yamunotri received the most number of pilgrims.
Gangotri:
Perched at a height of approx 3100m, the sacred shrine of the Gangotri lies in the greater Himalayan range.Located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Gangotri is worshipped worldwide by Hindus and is dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
Kedarnath:
Considered to be the holiest and remotest amongst rest of the dhams, Kedarnath is located at a perch of 3584 meters.The temple is considered to be the abode of lord Shiva.
Badrinath:
On the banks of the river Alaknanda, the temple of Shri Badrinath ji is located. Badrinath is also popular for its incredible views.As per the historians it is said that once lord Vishnu did his apology at Badrinath, hence the shrine is devoted to Lord Vishnu.
The Yatra begins every year between May and October. Dedicated to different Hindu deities, these holy shrines play the most integral pilgrimage centers in the Country. The Chardham Yatra provides the much needed peace and stability in one’s life.
Itinerary :-
DAY 01: DELHI / HARIDWAR
Morning pick up from Delhi Railway station or airport, followed by drive to Haridwar. Check in to the hotel upon reaching Haridwar, a refreshing welcome drink and mini refreshments for you. In the evening, visit Har-ki-Pauri and enjoy the magical Ganga Aarti. Dinner at hotel, tour leader will brief you about divine Chardham Yatra.Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 02: HARIDWAR / BARKOT
A wake up calls in the early morning for Dipping in Ganges and performs Surya Namaskar at Saptrishi Ghat. Have breakfast and commence trip towards the first Dham,Yamunotri. Drive to the Barkot through Dehradun, Mussoorie. Enroute enjoy the magnificent Kempty fall. At Barkot you will be have your dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 03: BARKOT / YAMUNOTRI / BARKOT {30KMS DRIVE & 7KMS TREK (ONE SIDE)
Get ready in the morning for Yamunotri Darshan, the first Dham amongst Fours. Drive to the Hanuman Chatti, upon reaching Hanuman Chatti, you have to take a local jeep for Janki Chatti which is 8 kms, from here a 6 km trek start for Yamunotri. Nearby temple is Divya Shila, a rock pillar which is highly worshipped there. You can perform pooja there. Drive back to Barkot. Overnight stay at Hotel.
DAY 04: BARKOT / UTTARKASHI
Begin journey to Uttarkashi post breakfast. Journey breaks at Brahamkhal and Dharasu band enroute. Enjoy your lunch on time upon reaching Uttarkashi. Evening time is kept for leisure. Visit to Vishwanath Temple followed by dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 05: UTTARKASHI / GANGOTRI / UTTARKASHI (200 KMS)
You will receive an early wakeup call, take breakfast, and get start for Gangotri. On the way stop for Gangnani hot water spring, proceed towards Gangotri temple. After pooja, enjoy lunch at Gangotri. Leave for Uttarkashi, upon reaching, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 06: UTTARKASHI / GUPTKASHI
Post breakfast, proceed Drive to Guptkashi for the Kedarnath Darshan. Enroute visit Tehri town a heritage site and Lake. Upon reaching Guptkashi, overnight stay.
DAY 07: GUPTKASHI / KEDARNATH
Drive to Gaurikund in the morning. Start your trek to Kedarnath from Gaurikund (3584 mts). You can choose to trek by foot or by Doli or pony. On this journey, carry your own heavy woolen clothes, toiletries and medicines for emergency. Upon reaching, check into the hotel, Visit Kedarnath temple. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
DAY 08: KEDARNATH / RUDRAPRAYAG
Early morning temple darshan, trek down to the Gaurikund. From there drive to Rudraprayag followed with check in to hotel for overnight halt.
DAY 09: RUDRAPRAYAG / BADRINATH
Badrinath Temple, Uttaranchal Tour Via Joshimath, morning drive to Badrinath. Check in hotel. Visit Badrinath temple for Aarti in the evening. Badrinath is one of the four Dhams. Overnight halt at Badrinath.
DAY 10: BADRINATH / SRINAGAR
Early morning bath at Taptkund, have darshan of Badrivishal. On the way you will come across with many sightseeing spots. Drive to Srinagar. Upon reaching Srinagar, check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 11: SRINAGAR / RISHIKESH
Visit Shankracharaya Math and Narsingh temple early morning. Drive back to Rishikesh. After arrival, check in to the hotel at Rishikesh for overnight stay.Sightseeing-Ram jhulla, Laxman jhulla, Parmarth Ashram, Bharat Mandir, Shivananda Ashram, Triveni Ghat.
DAY 12: RISHIKESH / DELHI
Drive back to Delhi. Transfer to Airport/Railway station upon arrival to Delhi.
